Who benefits?

Our goal at Contributor is to develop a tight-knit network of non-profit organizations in Canada, which will serve as the distribution channel for getting skateboards out to the kids who need them most. Whether the community group works with youth at risk or underprivileged children, or perhaps even both, we firmly believe that these organizations have the best understanding of what’s happening on the ground, how to address it, and how positive activities like skateboarding can be a part of that overall solution. Initially, we will be distributing skateboards through registered non-profits in 5 Canadian cities including Vancouver, Calgary, Regina, Toronto and Montreal. These communities foster some of the highest rates for child poverty in our country.
